USB ports are only REQUIRED to provide 100 ma current. The Ax uses about 200 ma current when on. So, on some USB ports you will lose battery power, but at a slower rate, if the Ax is on. However, USB ports MAY provide as much as 500 ma power, in which case you're laughing.
If the Ax is off, both levels of power will charge the Ax, slowly.
