I bought the 256mb Sandisk with my Dell also. It has done everything but work as it should. It's deleted files, asked to be reformatted, even locked up my windows explorer in a card reader. I've tried other SDs in my Dell with no problem. But put my SD into anything other than its plastic case and who knows what will happen. HOWEVER, with one call to Dell, my replacement is on the way. Hopefully it was just a bad one (of several from the post) and my new one will be a good one.;)
