- Check that your router supports 802.11b protocol
- Do Axim's soft reset, so the newly installed card driver could be loaded
- Temporarily power off (for a test) other wireless devices, such as cordless phones, X10 video sender-receiver etc, they may operate on 2.4MHz and would interfere.
- After you plug-in the card into Axim - check that you have steady "link" light, blinking light means "looking for connection" status
- Go to nearest Starbucks or CVS for a link test, you do not have to sign up for any service, just to verify that you can get steady light on the card.
- About IP address, there is no need to specify it if you have DHCP enabled on the router.
- Please post here what you see if you go to settings and run config program for the card when the adapter plugged in. Do you see "Link quality" is showing something and what about the speed?
