That logic does not seem to make sense to me. From waht I have read, it is a procedural thing with Pocket PC in general that no program will automaticly shut down but will kind of hibernate in the background. There is a post on here from a Pocket PC programer that says MS did that to enable faster start times for programs that are frequently accessed. In the several weeks that I have been using my AXIM I have never encountered a problem with not shuting down activesync. Now I have shut soem thigns down with the task bar when playing games or reading e-books just to make sure I have plenty of power for the weekend. however when my second cradle arrives and I have it connected to my home PC I don't think that will be an issue.
Maybe some of the more senior members have an opion on the matter.
