I had the same problem. During large file transfers, it would stop half way through and disconnect. I also had problems with the sync disconnecting. I ended up getting a new usb card. After that, everything was fine. I can transfer what ever I want directly to ax. I've also been able to tranfer directly to the sd card while in the ax.
