afaik Windows Media Player is the only show in town when it comes to encoding Windows Media Video. Are you using the Pocket PC setting in Window Media Encoder? Anyway, I've always found that my Axim (x5)didn't play WMV very well even in Pocket PC. Try downloading Pocketdivx encoder for your pc to use Windows Media Encoder and Betaplayer for your Pocket PC for playback. If you looking for guides swing by the Multimedia section of Aximsite.
