Well.... pocketpc and the internet is kinda slow especially when you dont go to pocketpc friendly sites. Try going to this site on your axim it should be pretty fast if not perhaps its configuration error.

The $17.00 Targus PocketModem that I bought last week on eBay arrived today.
I'm currently typing this on my X5, via the Targus, 20' phone cord, and my local internet connection. It's *just* as fast as the 56k modem in my PC!
This is going to be great for posting updates from the hospital when our new child is born! Last time I had to lug my laptop, and that wasn't fun!
