I think I made mistake in trying to load the ActiveSync software on my HP desktop computer at home (WindowsXP). I plugged the Axim into the USB port before completing the installation. Could this be part of the problem? ActiveSync loaded ok at the office (Windows2000). This time I followed the directions. I didn't plug in the Axim before completing the intallation.

I get through loading Outlook okay on my HP desktop, but when I go to load ActiveSync, it appears to start doing something and then doesn't do anything.

Any ideas? I called Dell and after about an hour and a half on the phone, I still can't load the software. We tried loading the New! ActiveSync 3.7.1 software from the web, but that didn't work either.
