The issue lies when I convert back from psw to the desktop, the original formatting has changed signifcanly.
Is there any way to keep the original .doc format (font, design) save it to the Axim, then when I return to office upload to desktop and not have to re-font or fix it.
I need to be able to change docs on the fly (on Axim) when out in the field and then print them back in the ofice without having to recreate everything.
I know I am expecting a lot, but figured you experts would know about this.

Pocket Word will not do this for you. Textmaker
http://www.softmaker.de/tmp_en.htm, from Softmaker, will. It is not cheap, although they have been known to have terrific sales from time to time, but it is worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.
