Well, that is not unique to PI; so does AF.
I have used both of these apps - I started using PI back in version 4.x in April-June 2003, and then had a compatibility problem with it and with the Lotus Notes replication app that I was using that did not exist with AF. I then used AF for about 14 months, upgrading several times along the way. I have just reloaded PI's trial again; this version seems to work nicely with Cadenza.
I personally like PI a little more, mostly because I find the usability and response time to be better than AF. I think that AF has some nice features as well. I like the task features and the contacts features of AF a bit more, and I think that I also like the Notes features more. However, at this pointg I am using tasks less than I once did, and the contacts db loads more slowly in AF, and I rarely use Notes myself, so that advantage does not mean much to me.
I would strongly suggest that you do a trial of both products and decide for yourself which one works best for you. Like I said, at this point I am leaning towards using PI over AF, despite the fact that I will be throwing away the cost of AF, but I am sure that there are people who will like using AF more.
