Active-sync internet pass-through

Has anyone had success figuring out how to set up an internet pass-through connection on WM2003? I have an X5 and Active-sync 3.7.1. In Active-sync, I went to "Options > Rules > Pass Through" and set "Connection" to "The Internet". However, whenever I try to open PIE and browse to a website, it just gives me an error that the "Page you are looking for cannot be found."

My desktop is running Windows XP Pro SP1 and we have a proxy set up. Doesn't PIE use the desktop's proxy settings? I tried configuring the same proxy on the X5, but that didn't work either.

Please help!

Peace,
Greg
