I also went with the 300. I am having loads of fun with it. I play mp3s, watch movies, play games, etc. I decided that I would save the extra money and buy a couple of memory cards. Right now I have two 128 CF and one 256 SD.
As far as the cradle goes, for those that have it, doesn't that make it difficult to use the Axim if it's in the cradle? I can sync and charge mine at the same time, just two wires, but it seems to be easier to play with the Axim while you are charging it, since it's only one small connection, and doesn't get in the way, I can move it around, etc. Seems it would feel confining to have it in the cradle.
Not knocking those who went with the 400. I have had a Palm and a WinCE before this one, and didn't use it that much, but this one is great! I use it all the time. I would love to have a 400 to compare the speed with, but for now, I'll stick with this one, and whenever Dell comes up with a newer model, I'll eBay this one and get a new one.
