I think this is a tough call. The processor is faster, but the bus it runs on isn't. You have to wonder whether the extra speed and RAM are worth $100 (50% more!). And anybody would admit that these PPCs don't exactly last forever.

What finally sold me on the 400 was the extra flash. If there is a significant upgrade to Microsoft CE and if Dell does offer the upgrade, it will have to fit in flash. Mabey I'll get one more OS upgrade this way.

Well, that plus I had the extra $100 in my pocket.

BTW - you can get the cradle for $20 if you buy in when you order. That still saves enough for a few Big Macs.
