I hope they resolve it soon because i've just ordered an axim with keyboard and I need a word processor badly!!! (pocket word is apparently rather naff...)

This I really don't konw, based on what I hear about the problem it is mostly on Dell's End, there might be a "detour" so to speak on TextMaker's end, but the timeframe for that isn't set in stone.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this one, but better now than when it's too late to go back is my mentality
This is very unfortinaute also because the hardware aspect of the Dell foldable keyboard is totally awesome, it's a shame the driver is'nt up to par. Hopefullly though if poeple complain a fix might be considered...
What do you actually plan to use the wordprocessor on the go for? If yuo just need it for notetaking, then Pocket Word can work, I am able to make do with just that for the time being, I just make any tables I know I will need over in excel, and then transfer them in later. I konw that is very tacky, but it works. However, using a nifty app called wordcommands, which is freeware, you can give PocketWord much needed command key capability, and using that you can make indendted lists, change formatting, and so forth.
A few things are preserved: images, headers and footers, and margin sizes. Tables unfortunately are lost...
