From your reply I'm beginning to realise (

) that I'm very probably using PB wrong....seems like I'm using appointments when I should be using tasks (ie really all I want to list on the Today screen are To-Do things, rather than appointments - is 'Tasks' the right option for this?).

My excuse is that I only got PB yesterday so I'm only learning what's what...... :rolling:

Any way, I followed your advice and posted my question on the PB site and was told it's not yet possible to put the appointment beside the date, rather than under it - but they're working on it!
