So you are dialing directly into the PC?

You are not having to go through any RAS or Network Authentication before you get to the Desktop?

Is there an after dial terminal that comes up on your Home PC or Laptop when conecting?

How do you have the Work PC setup to receive your call(Software.)? In other words what software is acting as the Host? (I can't recall if W2K has any way of setting up a native host connection. Normally it's with pcAnywhere or other remote control software.)
