When I use my WinXP desktop to go to a website that has streaming videos and click on a wmv video it usually will pop up the Win Media Player and play the wmv file video.
However, when I go to the same site with my Axim X30 using Pocket Internet Explorer, through a Hi speed WiFi connection, and click on the same wmv video file the Media Player Does NOT pop up and play the file, plus the Axim freezes up.
The wmv file is encoded for very low bandwidth approx 42kbps, and 180x120 size.
Is it NOT possible to play streaming videos on a Pocket PC through Pocket Internet Explorer. Am I doing something wrong, or does that website need to hyperlink the video in a certain way in order to allow PIE to pop-up the pocket PC version of Win Media Player.
