The wmv file is encoded for very low bandwidth approx 42kbps, and 180x120 size.
Is it NOT possible to play streaming videos on a Pocket PC through Pocket Internet Explorer. Am I doing something wrong, or does that website need to hyperlink the video in a certain way in order to allow PIE to pop-up the pocket PC version of Win Media Player.
Thanks for any replies.

I am not sure if this will be helpful, but I have had trouble getting many streaming video/audio sites to work with PIE... but I have been able to work around most of them by using PIEPLUS to view-source on the page that is supposed to have the video/audio stream. I look for a URL beginning with mms:// and copy/paste that into the PIE address line. This typically will launch WMP with the appropriate information to get the stream.
Once it is playing in WMP, I save it as a Web Favorite, so it is easier to return to.
I have not experienced the type of feeze or problem that you are referring to though.
