Mr Wooch - ran SIW today - it found a number of programmes that I didn't even know where running (and Gigi, these weren't showing up in MSconfig either & LM stands for 'Local Machine').

Three of the programmes were conflicting BT drivers!!! (MS XP2 version, Logitech BT desktop, and an older USB BT dongle that I had).

I have been trying to troubleshoot a problem that I have been having in syncing my Nokia mobile (6230) with BT for about a month, where it would keep trying to reinstall the BT software (but if the installation was cancelled half a dozen times) it sync'd anyway (which was making it difficult to track down).

Disabled two of the BT drivers (MS and the older Widcomm one), rebooted and now all is sweet.

Thanks for the link to the software, will be using from now on :approve: - now I have to go and perform a new ghost back-up so that I don't have to keep going doing this

(BTW this is my 200th post - and I think that it being a reply to you is fairly apt)

Cheers

Rob
