TVT, you said you "tried the set up a home network thing." Do you mean the guide linked from my signature? If that's not what you were referring to, look at the
Alternate Setups section.
The things to keep in mind are that the router cannot function as a router - ICS handles this function, so turn it off in the router settings. Also, Linksys uses the 192.168.0.1 as its IP number which is the same as ICS uses. You need to change the router's IP. I seem to remember someone saying they needed to plug the ethernet cable from their PC into one of the router's LAN ports although it seems to me it should be the WAN port. That's something that's easy to try both ways once all the other settings are in place.
