That is exceedingly unlikely. If the surface has been damaged, it is, as they say, damaged.
On the other hand, you might try a stick-on type protector to see if it conceals the spot(s).
Usually a damaged surface has to be polished down to new material to effect repair, and I doubt that would be possible with a touch screem membrane. Too soft.
