The short answer is: It's ok, as long as you don't mind scratches on it.

The longer answer is: Most people that want to take extra care of their PPC will get a screen protector. Normal wear with the stylus WILL scratch the screen: that's just a fact. Granted, that won't amount to very much damage. But every so often, you'll get a piece of dust or other crap under the tip and SCRREEEEEEEETCHHHH!!! - you could get a big honkin' scratch. Happened to me on my J548. I thought I was gonna throw up!

I'm especially careful with my stuff, so there's no doubt in my mind I'll be getting one. Plus, a REALLY good one only costs about $10 - $15. Seems like a no-brainer to me, but different strokes for different folks!!! :approve:
