However, when the VGA output becomes standard on ALL handhelds, I believe that we will see more emphasis placed on Powerpoint.
Now...make that VGA connection WIRELESS, perhaps to a receiver that connects to the projector...and then these companies are going to be in business. I don't think anyone really wants a handheld tethered to a land line...but a wireless connection showing your PDA's output on a projector...THAT would rock.

I have done similiar but I needed a laptop to do it... (check out the link to my usergroup (mobile tech club) site.
Scroll down to 2001 Event on THIS LINK . I did this back in 2001! wireless to a laptop to control the laptop with my PDA and see on both the laptop and pda the powerpoint slide and able to control the powerpoint/annotate on the PDA. used 802.11b adhoc to the laptop :)
