Sounds like a device driver problem. If that's the case, it will probably require a software upgrade from Dell. You might want to send a message to tech support and maybe also post about it in the Dell forums. Give them as much info as you can about when the situation occurs - things like whether the wireless was on or off when the device was turned off; was the PPC turned off between turning the wireless off and back on; was the network active when you disabled the wireless (that is, were you connected to a network when you either turned off the PPC or the wireless).
