Have you tried Isilo? I'll be honest and say I haven't tried Ubook or peanut on the PPC but Isilo certainly meets all the features I need.
It now supports memory cards (about time!), has font scaling, auto scrolling and a desktop component that can convert html etc to pdb standard.
I'm still waiting on my x50v so can't say how it rates on a vga display but they have a trial version on their website so I'd be interested in what you think if you give it a try.

I had tried it a few years ago and wasn't that impressed with it, as the feature set was skimpy compared to uBook, which is donation ware. I just downloaded a trial and it looks about the same.
However, the text is very good on the VGA screen - crisp and clar. It's better than eReader, MobiReader, and uBook right now, though I image they'll catch up soon. It still has one of the things that griped me, when I first tried it - the text all crams up against the left side with no margin at all and seemingly no way to set one. Nor is there any way to set font or background color to get something less stark, something I usually do to avoid eye strain, as I do a lot of reading.
