Hmmm... not good. Does this happen only after you load some software, or will it spontaneously happen even with the system completely clean? Also, does your main battery actually hold a charge? Turn it on (if you can) and look at the battery monitor app to see if the charge holds.
If the battery's good and it's happening on a clean system I see one of two things. Something physical inside is perhaps interupting the power supply so that RAM get's wiped. That or perhaps your ROM image (the actual OS) is somehow corrupted.
If it's a corrupted ROM you should be able to download the latest ROM installer from Dell Support and reflash the OS, which should correct it.
