Active Sync is the WORST way to move large files to and fro. It's incredibly slow and it's incredibly unreliable. The best option is to use a SD/CF/MMC Card Reader. Directly transfer those files over to your 1GB SD card.
If you don't have a Card Reader, which only costs about $10-15 or even less, your next best bet is WiFi. The transfer rates are really good, so if you have a WiFi network set up simply use any decent File Explorer, like Resco or Total Commander, to map and connect to the files/folders that you want to move to the Axim from your PC. Just remember to set up file/folder sharing on your PC for any files/folders you want to allow the Axim to have access to.
If you don't have a WiFi network but have Bluetooth, you can set up a pairing relationship with your X30/50 and directly transfer the files over via the "File Transfer" Profile. You should bypass Active Sync at all costs because it's slower and glitchy, from my own personal experience. Just let it be known that the Bluetooth transfer rates are slower than WiFi so it'll take a bit longer but at least you don't have to deal with even slower Active Sync.
Best of luck. :approve:
