I'm using PocketDivxEncoder (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called, it's close anyway) To convert movies that I "obtained" from the internet. I haven't converted anything straight from DVD yet.
I've only tried this and Doctor Divx. bothe worked fine, but the PocketDivxEncoder runs alot faster, ankes the file a bit smaller and I don't notice any difference in quality. I think the advanced options offered by both encoders are comparable.

For me, It's all I need. When I'm looking a small screen with glare, I don't need a crystal clear image. But the images are of easily enjoyable quality nontheless.

And As I noted above, the longest, and highest quality movie I have converted is Fight Club and it's just under 300 megs. It makes the movies small enough to fit two full movies and three full CD's on a 1Gb SD card with room to spare.

Now all I need is a battery that will last long enough for me to enjoy all the crap I put on my Axim.
