With any version of Windows for the desktop, most of us know that Windows performance degrades over time as programs are installed and uninstalled. The registry gets bloated, .dll files are left behind, and everything seems to go downhill.

I have been assuming this is true with Windows Mobile devices, and therefore I am always hesitant to experiment with software because I don't want to degrade my PDA's performance. Can anyone tell me if this is in fact the case.
