I notice that the error says "unrecognised network card in socket 2" and the error on the X3i was "socket 1". Is it possible that SD cards and CF cards are in these sockets and the OS or hardware somehow thinks to check these locations for wifi cards (before the inbuilt card) and when it finds that they are not wifi cards then gives this error? Any thoughts? I have removed my SD card and it seems to be so far so good.....(obviously that is not a long term solution though).
