Did you load a bunch of stuff on the card at one time and then deleted it off the card? If so did you empty the trash bin on your computer while you were still accessing the card? If you didnt empty trash then the
files or data is still on the card in the trash bin but cannot be accessed but are still taking up memory.
You need to empty trash out to fully delete these files or data and then you will have your full storage
capacity back at least it worked for me when I had that problem.
