I have an old ATI All in Wonder 7500 card that I use to record TV shows and I noticed that it has an option to record specifically for use on a handheld PC in an mpeg-4 format. The only problem I found with this default setting, however, is the file size was huge. A 30 minute cartoon was 195mb. Next time I test this, I think I'll record in mpeg mode and try converting it to either Divx with Pocket Divx Encoder or WMV format with Windows Media Encoder.
