Well, as far as my experiences with the miniSync, I would have to give it a "B". I feel that it succeeds in the intent of small form factor, and the convenience as a result is good. The only negative is the concern over discharging vs. charging while it is plugged in - this is, of course, dependent on the USB port's power capabilities, so it will differ from machine to machine, but it's one more thing to have to consider when using the miniSync. To work around this while using the mini, I turned off my Axim - when it was on, the battery was discharging, but it did charge when off.
