I had a similar problem: contacts, calendar and tasks. When synchronizing I had the messages "Attention required". I tried to sync whith another desktop and it was OK. Then firstly I created a new user account on my Win XP notbook, secondly I uninstalled the Active Sync, rebooted and installed it again. Now the sync is OK.
