The process is not that hard... you can rip files anyway you want off a DvD... chapters if you like. I was directed to a new piece of software by a member of another forum. I looks promising and it is free... you may want to have a look. It is called FairUse...

Maybe you can let us know how you make out with it. When you finish encoding you can simply copy the video file to your storage card. This is when it becomes important to get a card reader.
