OK, I don't like the Home screen because it's not very friendly (IMO).
Anyway, to fix the flag icon issue, go to the Home app, use the menu at the bottom to get to the group that the shortcut is really stored in (the calendar, for instance, is under 'Main'), click 'Option' - 'Delete', select the shortcut(s) you want to delete (the ones giving you a flag icon), press the 'Delete' button, click 'OK', click 'New', click 'Browse', change the file format to 'exe', select 'Windows' in the 'Folder' box, pick the calendar and whatever else.
Now, for the disclaimer, it seems the 'Home' app cannot get more than one folder deep. It also appears that some of the items pre-populated in the Home app were links to links, meaning if you re-organized your Start menu into sub-folders the links in the Home app would be broken, or if you replace the built in calendar.exe with PI the calendar.lnk in the windows directory that was more than likely linked to in the Home app would be hosed. So, here is a work around...
- Make a folder under the root of your PPC called something like 'Shortcuts'.
- Make a shortcut to all the apps on your PPC that you like in that folder.
- go to your Home app and make whatever groups you want and use the LNK filter and the 'Shortcuts' folder (the one you made earlier) to add items to each group.
Someone else with more experience in the Home app may be of more service, however...
