I just got the x30 mid... moved from an Tungsten E (owned many palms). I believe I will return the x30 for a Tungsten T3 or T5. As others have said in this string it is all about what you need the PDA to perform... or how it performs in your life. My X30 came with all kinds of cases, two batteries, etc... but the x30 is simply huge when put side by side with a t3 or t5. Then the cases make it really huge.

I am going to keep for a couple of more days before making a firm decision. The OS is okay... nothing to write home about... think for my purposes I like Palm OS better, but I will keep the x30 for a couple of more days to confirm. For what I need, x30 does do input a lot better than palm.

I held a Tungsten T5 at circuit city X-mas eve and simply feel in love. I had the X30 there and the T5 was so small instead of feeling like a brick in my pocket, the t5 would feel like the te, which sometimes I had forgot it was in my pocket. The x30 is not heavy, just very thick, which causes a bulge in your pants pocket. I will give the x30 a couple of days to see if I change my mind.

edit: but with having to use outlook and the sync problems, I am leaning on returning the x30 for a t3 or t5.
