It depends on your needs and computer savvy. My wife has a Tungsten E. It is a small, light and very easy to use organizer. She uses it to keep track of appointments for us and her mother and sister. She also keeps many notes on information that she tracks. She is not very computer literate and finds it easy to use. We also have some Excel files and street maps on it. I almost got a T3 or T5, but decided I wanted a "real" computer, so I got a X30H. I also have an original HP Jornada. I have used computers since the original IBM PC and have built 2 computers in the past, so I am somewhat computer literate. I am happier with a pocket PC.

There is one application where I think the Palm has an advantage. If you use Excel a lot, the full version of "Documents to Go" has much more capability than Pocket Excel. Basically, I think that the Palm has a slight advantage as a business tool and the Pocket PC is a better all-around computer.
