I know there's a comic strip reader out there somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Here's a tip from the old Mazingo Service that may help you view them Better in PIE if they are already in .html format;

Comic Strips
Mazingo is an ideal way to showcase comic strips. With a few enhancements, you can offer a nice scrolling interface for the daily delivery of your strips. To publish a comic strip with Mazingo, you need the following:

A Cover Page, with your comic's logo, and links to the last 5 days of comics.
Several Comic Pages -- individual HTML pages for each comic.

When creating these pages, please adhere to the following:

On the Cover Page, ensure that everything fits in a 220 pixel wide window. This means no wide tables, no frames, and no graphics over 220 pixels wide.
On the Comic Pages, insert the following tag EXACTLY as shown: <fit=0>. This ensures the comic always displays full-screen.

I think adding that tag will help. Meanwhile I'll keep looking.
