Hi,
I am planning to get a CF GPS sometime before april, and i just want some gernal info to start.
I have found several GPS systems, and several GPS software packages from here and several websites. My first question is about how the GPS software interfaces with the GPS itself. Are their certain GPS's that work especially good, or bad with certain software packages? Should i look for one which offers the software as well, which will hopefully be a great price, and be guarenteed to work great together?
How would i go about planning a vacation would be my second question?
1.)Do i load all the maps on my PC, plan a route, then have the neccessary info sync'ed or downloaded to AXIM? How much memory is needed for the program, and/or maps?
2.)Do i load all the maps/software onto the biggest SD flash card i can find and run everything on the AXIM?
3.)Do i need to take a laptop with me to get new maps or info as i go from state to state, and province to province?
