I am using,
SPB Pocket Plus - heaps of nice little gadgets (brightness control doesn't work on the X50v though...)
PocketBreeze and ContactBreeze - displays all the PIM stuff on your today screen (I think this was my best purchase)
Resco File Explorer
MemMaid - Very nice memory management. I use my Laptop for formating SD cards etc as it has a card reader so decided against Pocket Mechanic.
I chose these applications for speed (wisbar advance 2 was a little slow for me???) and features. Also if you keep an eye out you can generally get good prices on all these titles at pocketgear or handago.
