Current (all) axims run WMP 8.5, not 7.5 .
It's very strange, as it would seem to be impossible for one unit out of thousands to be different. I did the ROM upgrade, and my WMP is definitely ver 8.5. As far as I know, this program is part of the ROM package ... ie, pre-installed software.
Some unsuspecting users have checked for software updates, and tried to install the "latest" version from the MS site, only to find it's a step backwards, and prevents WMP from running.
