Unfortunately I just bought a new cellphone, the motorola v220, and it does have internet, but I dont think it has bluetooth. Oh boy... :rolling:
Maybe I can get another one later on, and give this one to my husband, LOL.
But for now I'm interested in getting one of the cards you mentioned (CDMA/1X PCMCIA card like the Sierra Wireless 555 Aircard).
I saw some cards on Ebay for a very cheap price. They have a sierra wireless card, but it's 300 instead of 555. Would that work? And who would I call for the internet service for it? I heard companies like sprint have their own wireless cards for pda's.
Sorry for all the questions...LOL, I notice it's like I have no idea what I got myself into. LOL.
But I'll do my best. :approve:

No, the Aircard 300 won't work. Firstly, if operates on a different data network (CDPD) which is old and being taken down in some area's. Also, it won't run on the 3.3 volts supplied by the CF slot (I tried it already).
You need a new Aircard like the 555 which doesn't require as much power. Maybe check with your provider to see if they have a good price on them if you sign up on a new data contract.
Sprint does have their own cards so you could check them out. Be sure to check out their 1X network coverage.
