Plain old PIE isn't very compatible with anything but very basic, simple, mostly text based sites. I log into several 128 bit sites on a regular basis, bank, airlines, hotel and travel sites and here are some possiblities of browsers and PIE add-on that will probably solve your problems:

Reensofts PIE Plus allows more than one window at a time plus includes the ability to fool web sites into thinking you're running IE6 on a desktop, check it out and try the trial at: http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=10692
ftXp can add certain things that are usually desirable and it's free.

I personally like and use mostly MultiIE which adds a ton to PIE, see and try it at: http://www.southwaycorp.net/multiie.htm
for ftXp, see: http://park15.wakwak.com/~ftx/ftxp3e/
Better yet, try all 3 and make your choice and hope this helps.

Another one that is pretty decent is Netfront v3.1, trials are also available on it but it is a bit pricey and while I own it, I don't really like it after using it for a while. Here is the delvelpers link tho, take a look:

Another freebie, not really a browser but a service somewhat similar to THawk in that it renders web pages for use on a PPC or Palm or whatever for that matter. Here's their link (I primarily use MultiIE and the subscription version of this, works quite well):
