What I mean is that, as the movie is rolling along, being encoded, the counter is also going along so I can tell at what chronological place the movie gets to before the process craps out.
And this is not a burned disc that I'm ripping. I own it and it has only been played once or twice. It is fine.
As far as clarifying, I think I was specific in my first post as to what I've done. What specifically are you wanting me to recant?
