I have not heard of a patch for pocket excel. While I know that PlanMaker is expensive, I am very impressed with the things it can do. It really is a mini-Excel.

This does not help you now, but later this year, watch for SoftMaker's annual November sale. I'm not sure how many years they've done this, but they put their software on sale for $11.11 ea on November 11. I bought TextMaker for that, but wasn't bright enough to buy PlanMaker that day.

However, as a TextMaker user, I was able to buy PM at a reduced cost. Essentially, I got both for about the cost of one.
