Mobile Crossing announced the WayPoint family of navigation systems. The product features built-in Navteq maps, navigation software based around a customized version of the Mapopolis routing engine as well as one-touch access to some important features to enhance driver safety.

The WayPoint is an all-in-one solution with vehicle mounts, home charger and cradle as well as all the maps for the customer's home region built into the device out of the box.

The WayPoint provides all the features expected of a high-end navigation system. This includes spoken directions, full color moving maps, touch screen, personal landmarks, toll road avoider and the most built-in maps and POIs of any PDA based device on the market today.
