As a Computer Science major in college, I'm a bit baffled as to why the default installation location for programs in is RAM. It a typically computer, RAM is only used when a program is running, not to store a program. I install all of my progs in ROM, except for the ones that won't run unless installed in RAM (utilities such as Remote Display Control and BatMemTime, both from www.snapfiles.com)
