I was wondering if people could offer their recommendations for online retailers for X50 accessories. I've had a bad experience recently with Proporta who took my order (and my money!) without prior warning that the products I ordered were not in stock... and wouldn't be in stock for at least two weeks. Even after a long distance call to the UK they got the order wrong and even charged my credit card TWICE. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH :realmad: :realmad: :realmad:
Anyway... I have had the opposite experience with
http://www.memoryxflash.com :approve: who are helpful, prompt and go out of their way to provide service and respond to odd requests. For example... I live in a tiny country in SE Asia and have to order all my PDA "stuff" from abroad. Problem is that many major online retailers won't ship here. Not a problem for memoryxflash... they went out of their way and even took my order via e-mail when their online system wouldn't accept it! BTW... check out their amazing price on 4gb CF cards!
So... can anyone give some referrals? I'm tired of dealing with over-worked, uninformed retailers who don't deal straight with thier customers!!!
If the customer service people at Proporta end up fixing the problems they have created I will come back and indicate so in this post... but I'm not holding my breath... It takes them several days just to respond to e-mails (if ever)....
