For PaulG: I'm also using Encarta Pocket Dictionary and find it to be somewhat slow. Have English, English/Spanish, Spanish/English --- they are rather slow as well.

For me, it's the slowest app I have on the Ax. Perhaps the slowness results from the required interface with Microsoft Reader...can't think of any other reason.

I've also noted that the word definitions are short (this is DEFINITELY an abridged dictionary) but when the doggone thing is free I can deal with it as well as the slowness.
